TONE Scaffolding erected this scaffold at Homerton, East London, for our client Connellys. For cladding works the challenges we faced on this project were logistically getting kit in and out of site due to the lack of space surrounding the building. We could not bulk deliver and very little kit could be stored on site, we also had to erect the rear elevation a specific way due to its location next to rail lines, so liaison with the railway was very important for this area. The use of catch nets were employed on the erection and dismantle of the project, and all this was achieved whilst the building was still fully occupied and without incident.
Dismantling the scaffolding took place with the use of catch nets due to the close proximity of the railway and the public.
