Our qualified Mental Health First Aiders are trained to recognise the signs and symptoms of common workplace mental health issues and are equipped to guide individuals towards the appropriate mental health support. Having undergone professional training, they have acquired the following:
- In-depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect overall wellbeing.
- Practical skills to identify triggers and recognise signs of mental health issues.
- Knowledge of physical first aid to offer a more comprehensive response to mental health challenges.
- Confidence to step in, reassure, and support individuals experiencing distress.
- Understanding of workplace adjustments, enabling them to help implement reasonable accommodations when an individual returns to work.
- Skills to foster a positive mental health culture within the workplace, promoting overall wellbeing and support.
