TONE Scaffolding Services were instructed to erect a radial independent scaffold to access the Launder Channel of a circular primary settlement tank to allow concrete repair works, also the removal & replacement of weir boards, during a tank upgrade project.
The scaffolding being 80 linear metres long required to be designed by calculation due to the gradient on the tank floor. The scaffolding was erected in a series of towers, each tower linked to follow the curvature of the tank walls.
