This is a cantilevered protection scaffold, built from the 3rd floor of a RC frame building next to and above Brent Cross West station.
The materials were craned up to the 3rd floor. Support towers were built inside the building, 750mm beams cantilevered through the windows, the cantilever is double boarded and mono flexed to stop any debris falling onto the glass roof of Brent Cross station. This also has a Niko track and winch connected to the underside of the 750mm beams to lift the external cladding into place.
This project was completed with in program deadline.
